Now We're Getting Somewhere - Automatic billing with the new Billing Cadences feature
Manually creating invoices always takes time out of your day when you could be doing far more important things in your business. With billing cadences you can now enable invoices to be generated automatically on a weekly, fortnightly, monthly or yearly basis for each student.
Billing Cadences to finalise your payment periods automatically.
Introducing Billing Cadences! Allow Recite to automatically create invoices for your students. These billing cadence's enable you to send out an invoice at the end of a certain period ensuring no lessons are left un-invoiced. You can find this new feature either by viewing a student and selecting the "billing cadence" tab or in the invoices section in teacher mode. It is also available in studio mode by clicking the "billing cadences" button from the studio mode main menu.
Select the occurrence.
Choose from weekly, fortnightly, monthly and yearly to generate invoices. View a preview of the current period to see exactly what lessons will be included.
Specify the billing settings.
Set the billing settings such as per lesson or per hour and the rate to enable Recite to automatically calculate the invoice line items and total to send to the student.
Need to double check or make adjustments?
If you need to double check or make adjustments to the invoices each time, disable sending the invoice to the student to create draft invoices for you to modify or check over before sending them. Recite will also send an email notification to you when it runs.
Future improvements.
This is just the beginning of this exciting feature. There are plans to integrate more options such as attendance settings to enable more customisation on what lessons should be charged. I also want to give even more customisation such as specifying certain dates(terms/semesters) for when the billing cadence runs in the future.
